Program Presidents

Program Presidents are a vital link between your class members and your Student Association. One person in your program will be recruited to act as your Program President. If you have ideas or concerns regarding life at Frost campus, contact your Program President or any member of the SA.

The Program President position offers the opportunity to increase your planning, time management, problem-solving, team participation and public speaking skills. If you feel you have an interest in your student government, but feel you do not have the time to commit to a position on SA, you may wish to consider the position of Program President.

The Program President's responsibilities include:

  • Act as liaison between the students in your program and the Student Association
  • Inform students of academic, social, and athletic activities
  • Attend SA General Meetings and some Board Meetings
  • Report student ideas, concerns and complaints to the SA
  • Encourage student participation in college-wide events
  • Initiates fundraisers for their program
